victory for Tayport at Firhill.
The ex-Arbroath chief said: "He scored the winner in the semi-final and now he's scored the winner in the final. "I can only say that he has scored a lot of very important goals for this club and none more important than that. I'm obviously very delighted." Linlithgow Rose manager Jim Sinnet held his hands up and admitted Tayport were the better side. "Defensively they are a very strong side. Although they were supposed to be down to 10 men, it felt as if there were 14 or 15 of them," said Sinnet. "Tayport played to their strengths and we had a few people who weren't playing well. They deserved to win. I hope they enjoy the night." |
