28/04/04 - THE Daily Record Cup Final will take place this Sunday at Rosyth Juniors. Recreation Park  when The Valley Bar take on Jokers Bar for the trophy. Free-flowing football will be on show so get yourself along to support your local pub.

26/04/04 - Lochore's new boss Pat McAuley  had a great start to his reign with Lochore winning 4-1 against Dundonald. With suspension and injury problems Rosyth Recreation scored a good win at Denfield (Kirkcaldy YM) with a 2-0 victory 2 goals from Alan Aitken sealed the match.  Lochgelly went down 3-1 to Crossgates Primrose with Primrose new boy Stephen Bristow scoring twice on his debut. Steelend lost out to Newburgh 2-4 leaving them rooted to the bottom of the league. Champions Thornton Hibs played a friendly against St Andrews United at Memorial Park with Hibs winning 5-3.

21/04/04 - Kelty take the 3 valuable points at Warout Stadium with a confusing goal which has water bottles flying at the end of the match. Tayport exit the North End Challenge Cup in when Lochee united hit them with a double late into extra time. Boness hold Linlithgow to a draw in the east super League.
18/04/04 - After Saturdays Super League results Fife look like they may be heading towards losing two of its four super league clubs. North End served the Haws a hard blow with a late goal winner. Glenrothes who were beaten by the Haws midweek picked up 3 valuable points at Oakley setting up an interesting match this Wednesday against Kelty Hearts
18/04/04Lochore Welfare - Gary Paterson has ended his spell as player/manager. Welfare have announced the appointment of Pat McAuley from Downfield. He will have his first look at his new charges at training tomorrow and his first match in charge will be Saturday's league match against Dundonald. He has asked former manager Garry Paterson to stay on at the club in the meantime and Garry has agreed to do this. Pat will bring a wealth of experience to the club having been manager at Alloa for a spell and assistant at East Fife, Abion Rovers and Dunfermline amongst others.

Lochgelly Albert are in the middle of a managerial change within the club.

17/04/04 - TAYPORT will have to live up last season's success if they are to remain kings of the junior game. Dave Baikie's men are Super League champions and Scottish Cup holders but the gaffer fears their dominance could be about to catch up with them. for more click here
17/04/04 - FILM buff Ian Ferguson wants to star on the junior game's biggest stage before the credits roll on his goal-laden career. The Rosyth striker is the football equivalent of Barry Norman and has earned rave reviews since signing for the Fife outfit. for more click here
17/04/04 - By winning 3 - 0 at Lochore today Thornton Hibs won the Fife District League title and promotion to the East Super League. Pipped at the post last season Hibs now have the opportunity to prove themselves against the big guns. CONGRATULATIONS to all at Thornton.

02/04/04 - OVD Cup final has been brought forward a week and will now take place on Sunday May 23 at Firhill, kick-off 3.20pm, live on STV. This is because Scotland are playing Trinidad & Tobago live on Sky a week later, on the original OVD final date of May 30.
